The Columbia Royal Crown Patio Doors redefines standards in the industry of patio doors. This vinyl patio door brings energy efficiency, solidity and security. Our door can be shipped KD or fully assembled. This is a great door for apartments with several floors since the frame kit is not assembled.
Specifications::
Screens: Are available completely assembled and are reversible for OX or XO installation. Screens shall be extrubed hollow aluminum fitted with 18 x 16 fiberglass screen cloth or mesh aluminum wire (available at extra cost). The screens shall be furnished with four tension mounted ball-bearing rollers, interior and exterior pulls, or handle and latching device. Screen shall also have vinyl insect-proffing at the interlocking stiles.
Easy-Adjust: Sliding panel can be easily adjusted for height. Wheels can be lowered or raised 1/4" by adjusting a screw at the end of each panel.
Material: Main frame and panel members are constructed of extruded vinyl having a minimum thickness of 0.062 inch (with standard commercial tolerances). Exposed scre fasteners shall be cadminum-plated or zinc-plated per AST specification A-164-55 or A-165-55.
Construction:All joints of the frame an vent section shall be neatly fitted and secured to fully utilize the strength of the members and provide permanent watertight joints. Both sliding and fixed panels shall be constructed so that the location and direction of the slide for the panels can be changed after installation without replacement or reglazing. The sliding paned when in a locked position shall not be removable from the inside. Both sliding and fixed panels shall be removable for glazing and maintenance. The sliding panel shall be equipped with ball-bearing bottom-rolling type adjustable sheaves at each end to allow fro proper alignment of the sliding vent with the frame. The threshold shall have a removable stainless steel track to provide ease of operation and lasting quality.
Weatherstripping: Perimeter of panel is pile weather-stripped. The fixed panel is weather-stripped with specially designed vinyl.
Hardware: Latch, standard keylock, pull and keeper are designed for installation on either side of the door. Hardware tested for forced entry.
Erection: These sliding doors shall be erected in prepared according to manufacturer's instuctions. All door frames shall be installed plumb, level and square to allow proper functioning in regard to sliding, locking and weathering. All necessary screw shall be furnished by manufacturer.
